E. J. Halverson & Associates was founded in April 1964 by Eric J. Halverson, Sr. as an independent adjusting company offering services to the insurance community in the areas of admiralty and casualty insurance.

The company now consists of six employees under the management of Thomas J. Halverson, Sr. and offers a wide range of services to the insurance industry, consisting of investigation, claims management and adjustment of cases in the areas of general maritime law, specializing in hull and P&I, Towers Liability, collision, ship repairers legal liability, C.G.L. and wharfingers exposure, maritime products liability and pollution.

In the casualty field, the company offers services in the areas of general liability, truckers liability, employers legal liability and workers compensation.  Services are available throughout the State of Louisiana as well as the Gulf Coast region of the United States.  In special cases or needs, the company travels to any location which may be required to accomplish underwriters needs.
